City offices now at Robinsons mall
Public transactions with the city government are temporarily affected with the transfer of different offices to Robinsons Place starting yesterday.
Most of the offices have no fixtures yet such as light, telephone lines and walls which serve as division for each office.
Yesterday, the staff of offices like the City Assessor's Office, City Treasurer's Office and Permits and Licensing Division accommodated clients to the best of their ability.
The City Engineer's Office which is in-charge of the repairs and installation of facilities has yet to install all the lighting facilities in the respective offices.
During the first day of their transfer, the employees were busy arranging their documents. They have to contend with whatever space is alloted to each office.
At the right side of the escalator going to the 3rd floor, is the Office of the City Mayor and the City Assessor's Office. In the center is the office of the private secretary to the mayor, Permits and Licensing, Administrative Office and the Public Information Office.
At the other side of the mall's Mabini wing, is the City Legal Office, City Treasurer's Office and City Budget Office. The General Service Office is located at the car park area.
All the offices which are now occupying the 3rd floor of the Robinsons Place are expected to have smooth operations after more than a week of repair and arranging all their documents as well as facilities.
