Iloilo's songbird, Em Capalla, continues to make music as she prepares her entry for the national music industry.
This 25-year-old vocalist of the famous Polym and Outer Heaven bands said that she has left her work as medical representative in order to devote time to singing. She's now intensely practicing, continues to do gigs and one of these is a regular nightly performance at the Boracay Regency, and going to the gym to keep herself fit. She's also hosting for Bongga, a Sunday variety show of GMA Iloilo. She's also a big help to mom Aileen Capalla, the woman behind Brainwaves Productions.

She was 20 years old when she joined SIAM along with Erik Santos. When she was eliminated, she stopped joining competitions. "It was my first time to lose. I got used to winning in singing competitions," she said.
This fan of Whitney Houston and Beyonce said that she plans to get married in three years. Before that, she wants to achieve her dream --- that of becoming one of the country's dynamic singers.
