Mall issues guidelines for city hall employees
City government has started accepting public
transactions in its new offices at the third level of
Robinsons Place Iloilo.
The Robinsons Place management has issued several guidelines to Iloilo City Hall employees who are now occupying the third floor of the mall. One of them is for the city employees to secure a Tenant Pass from the mall's Security and Safety Department.
The mall's guidelines was discussed yesterday by Ditas Taleon, Robinsons Place mall manager to City Administrator Melchor Tan. The mall's management gave the city government eight rules to follow for a smooth operation and easy public transaction as vital city government offices have transferred to Robinsons Place.
In the guidelines, Taleon asked that all the employees with the exception of those assigned to do field works will be required to secure a tenant pass from the mall's security officer Jun Bayot. The mall also required the city government to provide them with a list of all employees that are authorized to carry firearms.
The mall will not also allow vending/selling of food and other items inside the allotted area for the government offices. City employees can eat at the mall's employees canteen at the 4th Level of the Car Park Building or at the mall's food tenants.
The guidelines also stated that all items brought outside the "leased premises" shall only be allowed upon securing necessary gate pass from the Mall Administration Office. Any activity or overtime works done after office hours shall be covered by a duly accomplished work permit.
Office hours for city employees is from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. while mall hours will still begin at 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The entrance for the Mabini wing near KFC and Pizza Hut will be opened for the city hall employees from 7:30 a.m. The transacting public will be given clearance to enter at 8:00 a.m at the Mabini entrance wing only.
The escalator at the Mabini wing, in going up will be operational to accommodate all employees and city hall clients at 7:45 a.m. The escalators between 2nd and 3rd Level will be put off at 5:00 pm. While, the air conditioning system will be turned on at 8:00 am and turned off at 5:30 pm.
The mall will also allow employees to park anywhere except at the Ledesma front parking area. However, they will also allocate two parking slots for the exclusive use of the city mayor.
