SEA-K is a capability-building program implemented in partnership with the local government units which aims to enhance the socio-economic skills of poor families through the organization of community-based associations for entrepreneurial development. It is a community-based program of DSWD utilizing people’s organizations to be uniformly called SEA Kaunlaran Associations (SKAs) as credit conduits.
It seeks to improve the capability of the economically active poor to transform their labor resources into income through the creation of micro-enterprises thereby resulting in their socio-economic upliftment above the marginal status.
Other activities to be conducted are blessing and inauguration of Petron School and Petron Library Hub and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing between SouthEast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) and Petron Foundation.
