A Trip to Memory Lane: Apo Hiking Society Live in Iloilo
It's a trip to memory lane again when the Apo Hiking Society held a live concert in Iloilo last June 2 at the Centennial Convention Center.
The trio, whose career spans more than 30 years, sang all-time favorites like Awit ng Barkada, Batang Bata Ka Pa, Blue Jeans, Di Na Natuto, Doobidoo, Kabilugan ng Buwan, Mahirap Magamahal ng Syota ng Iba, Pumapatak Ang Ulan and Yakap Sa Dilim, among others.
It was a family affair because even the younger set was present in order to see the original singers of the revival songs they are hearing nowadays.
The trio sang, cracked jokes and made a rendition of their songs in different genres that attracted people of all ages.
Before that, Em Capalla and the Crossover Band served as the front acts.
At the end of the show, the crowd stood and the hall was filled with shots of "More ... more" and thunderous clapping. It's no wonder that Vince Abad Santos, CEO of Fullswing Marketing and Events Management Inc and Aileen Capalla of Brainwaves were all smiles because the show was a resounding success!
