Taekwondo training at Camp Delgado.
Police personnel assigned at Camp Delgado and their dependents are beneficiaries of free Taekwondo training with the 7th Dan Black Belter, Mr Jung Ho Lee.
Mr Lee is a Kukkiwon based in South Korea and temporarily residing at Osmeña St., Molo, Iloilo City.
The Taekwondo training is adopted as part of the Physical Fitness Program of the PRO 6 to provide the PNP personnel with the essential knowledge and specialized skill necessary in the discharge of their duties efficiently and effectively. Likewise, the training hopes to further instill discipline, morality and proper work ethics among the police force.
"It’s for free," Chief Supt. Wilfredo V. Dulay Sr. said referring to the Taekwondo Training that Mr. Lee would be conducting thrice weekly at Camp Delgado.
"There is an urgent need for our men to acquire knowledge regarding unarmed combat not only to help them in the performance of their assigned tasks but also it may save their lives," Dulay explained.
Aside from sharing his expertise for free, Mr Lee will also distribute Taekwondo uniforms for the participants.
