Dulay gathers gun enthusiasts today
The Police Regional Office (PRO) 6 holds the Chief Supt. Wilfredo V. Dulay Invitational Shootfest, Level 2 PPSA Sanctioned Pistol/Shotgun Match on August 23-26, 2007. It is in cooperation with the Central Iloilo Practical Shooting Association.
Chief Supt. Wilfredo V. Dulay Sr., PRO 6 Regional Director said that this activity aims to promote and enhance the proficiency and skills of our PNP personnel and of other law enforcement agencies in the handling of firearms. "It shall [also] establish camaraderie and harmonious relationship with our civilian community," he quipped.
Senior Insp. Dante S. Tayco, with the assistance of Mr. Paul Ledesma, President of Camp Martin Delgado Gun Club, is the Match Director of this shootfest that will kick off today at the CIPSA Firing Range at Brgy. Talanghawan, Sta. Barbara, Iloilo.
The shootfest is open to PNP personnel, members of other law enforcement agencies and civilian gun enthusiasts. There are two (2) separate events: five (5) pistol stages and two (2) shotgun stages for PNP and seven (7) pistol stages only for civilians. The teams from PNP units must be composed of three (3) men and one (1) woman personnel.
There will be two teams from the Regional Headquarters to compete in the said event: Chief Supt. Wilfredo V. Dulay Sr., Insp. Lindley Barrientos, SPO2 Louie Barrientos, PO3 Randy Babor for Team I and Supt. Eduardo Ebon, Chief Insp. Ma. Cristina Monte, PO2 Vincent Catedrilla, and PO1 John Baylosis for Team II.
