Iloilo capitol volunteers receive Christmas bonuses
The more than 11,000 volunteer workers in Iloilo province started receiving their Christmas bonuses given out by the provincial government yesterday.
Iloilo Gov. Niel D. Tupas, Sr. said that the P2,000 Christmas bonus is being given as gift for the volunteer workers' unselfish service to the province.
The volunteer workers who will receive Christmas bonus include barangay health workers, barangay service point officers and day care teachers.
Last year, these volunteer workers also received P1,800 Christmas bonus.
The volunteer workers who will receive their Christmas bonus Thursday at the New Iloilo Capitol Building are from the province's first and second districts, while those from the third and fourth districts on Friday.
