Pagdilao, on deck as WV PNP chief
Continuity in the effective and efficient delivery of public service by the Philippines National Police is once again demonstrated with the recent assignment and assumption of Police Chief Supt. Samuel Pagdilao, as Deputy Regional Director for Administration (DRDA) here on Monday.
As a matter of fact, Chief Supt. Pagdilao, expressed full support to all of the efforts of Police Regional Office 6 Dir. Wilfredo Dulay and the Philippine National Police (PNP) program roadmap.
Pagdilao, who, until recently was the chief spokesperson of the PNP, is believed to have been pre-positioned to assume as PNPregional director as soon as Dulay reaches his mandatoryu retirement age of 56 on February 14, this year.
Pagdilao, who is a lawyer, said that the PNP program roadmap which was developed at the PNP national headquarters to improve the image of the police officers as a protector of the people rights, would be implemented in all police offices nationwide.
He said however that the timing and manner of its implementation would vary depending on the people, culture, resources and local government units cooperation.
In Western Visayas, programs such as the Anti-"Kotong" and "Mamang Pulis" programs will be implemented to improve the image of the police officers. (PNA)
