Leadership training in Germany open to junior executives
The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development through InWent - Capacity Building International, Germany opened an 11-month International Leadership Training (ILT) programme for technical and management staff in companies and institutions which will formally start October 1, 2008 to September 30, 2009.
The ILT programme, custom-made to meet the specific demands of professionals, provides additional specialized skills so that participants can then initiate and manage processes of change within their own countries. Participants will spend a year consolidating their technical know-how, management skills and their capacity to implement change in Germany.
Interested applicants are required a university degree in an economic field of study, not more than 35 years old, physically fit, with two years of professional experience in the field of regional economic development as well as related industry associations, chambers, universities and consulting companies, employed on a regular basis and holds the position of a junior executive. Another prerequisite is the employer's support in terms of a written statement guaranteeing professional reintegration.
The cost of the advanced training in Germany such as lodging, travel expenses, health insurance and daily allowance are provided by the German Federal Government to successful applicants. However, the costs of the roundtrip airfare to and from Germany must be covered by the participant's employer.
Trainings will take place in different cities in Germany and InWent will provide accommodation for participants.
