28 police stations in Western Visayas get new vehicles
Twenty-eight local police stations in Western Visayas are recipients of new patrol jeeps, cars and motorcycles coming from the national police headquarters.
This was announced by the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) Regional Logistics Division chief, S/Supt. Vicente Aloro on Monday upon receipt of a memorandum order from the PNP national headquarters dated March 18.
The new vehicles include 15 Toyota Hilux, nine Toyota Altis and four 200 CC Honda motorcycles.
The recipients of Toyota Hilux are the local police stations of Barbaza, Tobias Fornier, Caluya and Patnongon under the Antique Police Provincial Office (APPO); Pan-ay of Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO); Moises Padilla and Toboso under the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO); Barotac Nuevo, Barotac Viejo, Banate, Calinog and Carles of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) and Buenavista, Nueva Valencia and Sibunag of the Guimaras Police Provincial Office (GPPO).
Meanwhile, the recipients of the Toyota Altis patrol cars are the police stations of Malay under Aklan Police Provincial Office (APPO); Tibiao of Antique provincial police; Tapaz of CPPO; Himamaylan, Sipalay, Talisay, Victorias of NOPPO and Guimbal and San Joaquin under IPPO.
The four 200 CC Honda motorcycles on the other hand will be for the police station of Hamtic of APPO; Sigma of CPPO and Candoni and Hinobaan under NOPPO. (PNA)
