NEDA's new OIC regional director in Western Visayas assumes post
The new officer-in-charge regional director of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) in Western Visayas assumed post Monday, replacing Arturo Valero who was transferred to Pagadian City.
Ro-Ann D. Bacal, who used to be the OIC regional director of NEDA in Northern Mindanao, started her duty with series of meetings with the NEDA staff, exchanging information with them, Bible sharing and reflection to foster camaraderie.
Alexander Valenciano, NEDA assistant regional director, said they hope that Bacal would continue to enhance the operation of the office and continue to attain the agency's goal in pushing for development planning, transparency and participatory governance.
Meanwhile, Valero earlier said their reassignment is the first of a series of reshufflings that will happen at the NEDA.
He added other NEDA regional offices will also follow soon. (PNA)
