PRO 6 distributes 29 motor vehicles
Several police stations here will have new patrol vehicles after the Police Regional Office (PRO) 6 has received 29 motor vehicles from Directorate for Logistics (DL), Camp Crame, Quezon City recently.
PRO 6 Director, Chief Superintendent Isagani R. Cuevas, said DL turned over to his Office 15 units of Toyota Hi-Lux 4X2 Patrol Jeep, 9 units of Toyota Altis Patrol Car, and 4 units of 200CC Honda Motorcycle.
"These motor vehicles will be distributed to our police stations," Cuevas explained.
The said mobility assets will be issued to police stations in Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Negros Occidental, Iloilo, and Guimaras.
Cuevas also said that the motor vehicles are hoped to increase police visibility and improve police response to emergency.
"We want to enhance the capability of our police stations in order to deliver the best for people," Cuevas quipped. (F. Lindero)
