PRO 6 welcomes 225 new POIs
The Police Regional Office (PRO) 6 came up with the final list of 225 applicants as the recruitment process came to end with the oath taking ceremony held June 3, 2008.
With the rank of Police Officer I (POI), the 225 police recruits took their oath of office before PRO 6 Director, Police Chief Superintendent Isagani R. Cuevas, and National Police Commission 6 Director Honey F. Paredes at the parade ground of Camp Martin Delgado, Fort San Pedro, Iloilo City.
These 225 recruits were among the 710 applicants who underwent the selection process since March 3, 2008.
They will undergo a 6-month Basic Recruit Course Training at the Regional Training School 6, Brgy Mansilingan, Bacolod City and another 6-month Field Training Exercise and a 45-day Internal Security Operations Training or Special Counter-Insurgency Operations Unit Training before they will be deployed for police duties.
