A world of flavors this June
Assistant Food Manager Kryztoff Carillo presents
June World of Flavors
It's again a feast of Asian and Mediterranean cuisines at The Promenade every Saturday for the month of June.
"June World of Flavors" boasts of a wide range of selections that could provide one with a pleasant dining experience.
SOUP. To ready that grumbling tummy is a choice between French Onion Soup and Cream of Pumpkin. By the way, pumpkin is very high in carotenoids, thus protecting our cells from damage. It also helps prevent the formation of cataracts.
APPETIZER. Concocted to start one's "craving for more" is a selection of Japanese Sushi Combination, Gourmet Cheese and Cold Cuts Platter, Mix Mushroom Ala Pobre and a new offering, Shrimp Cocktail.

Belly Kebabs.
SALAD. The old time favorite salad bar is still here, and added to that are Pear and Kani Salad, Oriental Seafood Salad and Chicken & Pasta Salad.
MAIN COURSE. The much awaited part of the meal is the main course, as always. The selections are Lengua Estofada, Pork Cordon Bleu, Saute of Four Vegetables, Seafood Au Gratin and the new offering, Roast Chicken with Almonds. Do you know that almonds have the same effect as the cholesterol-lowering drugs called statins? A one and a half ounce handful of almonds is a leading source of vitamin E and magnesium and offers protein, fiber, potassium, calcium, phosphorus and iron.
TNT Marketing Assistant Ramon Salvilla and I loved the Lengua Estofada the most. "The ox tongue is so tender and the sauce is so creamy," Ramon said.
Pork Cordon Bleu.
CARVING STATION. Ah this favorite station will never go away. It offers slow roasted imported beef, Chicken and Pork Belly Kebabs and assorted fresh seafood.
DESSERTS. So many people are always taking long at the dessert station. Ramon and I kept coming back there, too. The delicately and aesthetically prepared selections are such delectable beauties to behold. There's Black Forest Decadence Cake, Toffee Trifle, Assorted Panna Cotta, Tiramisu, Almond Praline Cheesecake, White Chocolate and Honey Mousse, Chocolate Strawberry Pavlora, Caramel Walnut and Coconut Pudding, Mango Souffle and Turtle Pie. The Turtle Pie really was something I had to go back to again and again.
Cold Cuts Platter.
The other regular sections are the Pizza & Pasta Station, Crepe Station, Fondue Station and fresh fruit slices.
All these are yours for only P495 every Saturday of June.
