Four Western Visayas provinces under state of calamity

The provinces of Iloilo, Aklan, Capiz, Antique and Iloilo City were declared under a state of calamity as the death toll and reports of damage brought by typhoon "Frank" in Western Visayas continued to rise.

Water rationing on, full power to take at least 3 weeks in Iloilo'

Search and rescue operations continue alongside relief efforts to the survivors on what stands as the worst calamity to hit Iloilo.

Almost half of the Imelda Bridge in Brgy. Amerang, Cabatuan was carried away by flood isolating the town of Maasin to Cabatuan and cutting the main pipeline of the Metro Iloilo Water District.

City declared under the state of calamity

The Sangguniang Panlungsod yesterday declared the city under the state of calamity after 135 of the city's barangays are devastated by typhoon Frank. The number of affected families continue to rise based the record of the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO). The death toll increased to 17.

MIWD to impose water rationing

Metro Iloilo Water District (MIWD) Interim Manager Edwin Reyes announced yesterday that they will impose water rationing in the city after its main water transmission line in Barangay Amerang, Cabatuan was destroyed by typhoon Frank.

BACOLOD CITY – Typhoon "Frank" lashed at 105 barangays affecting 7,312 families in Negros Occidental mainly because of floods, landslides and isolated tornado leaving 4 dead and 664 houses totally destroyed or damaged.
