IPG launches Search for Employee of the Month
The Iloilo Provincial Government (IPG) Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Committee launched on Monday the Search for Employee of the Month Program.
The program, which will start this month, aims at motivating, recognize and award personnel with outstanding performance and exemplary public service.
This monthly recognition is conferred to any provincial government employee who has demonstrated adherence to the office policies and observance of the eight (8) norms of behavior described under the Republic Act No. 6713 or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Government Officials and Employees in the performance of duties.
These norms include commitment to public service, professionalism, justness and sincerity, political neutrality, responsiveness to the public, nationalism and patriotism, commitment to democracy and simple living.
Eligible for nomination are permanent employees for at least two year at the time of nomination, must have obtained at least Very Satisfactory performance for the last two consecutive rating periods prior to nomination, and have not been formally charged or found guilty of any administrative or criminal offense at the time of nomination.
This program is in pursuant to the Revised Policies on Employee Suggestions and Incentives Awards System under CSC Resolution No. 01-0112 and CSC MC No. 01, s. 2001, thus adopted the PRAISE.
The said system is designed to encourage creativity, innovativeness, efficiency, integrity and productivity of public service by recognizing and rewarding officials and employees, individuality or I groups for their suggestions, inventions, superior accomplishment s and other personal efforts which contribute to the efficiency, economy, or other improvement in government operations, or for other extraordinary acts or services in public interest.
Monthly awardee/s will receive cash award of P3,000.00 and plaque while the three-time awardee for the year will be elevated to the Hall of Fame category and will receive P5,000.00 cash. (Capitol News)
