No suspect yet on robbery of Koreans
BACOLOD CITY -- Police are still clueless on the identity of three thieves who robbed two Korean nationals of their money and valuables here during the weekend.
Ko Wwang Eun, 25, and Um Jun Sun, 25, lost a P60,000 laptop computer, five cellphones with a total value of P44,800, a video player worth P20,000, a P4,700 watch, and a wallet with P450 in cash, to three men who waylaid them at 10th Street, Bacolod City, around midnight Saturday, police records showed.
The victims told the police that they were on their way home when the robbers, who were on a red tricycle, stopped them and declared a hold-up.
Senior Insp. Luisito Acebuche, Police Station 2 commander, said that they are still investigating the robbery and that they have not identified the suspects yet.
Three men on a tricycle also robbed a couple at the area of Police Station 2 last week.
