NORFI to lead Reproductive Health Month celebration
BACOLOD CITY -- The Negros Occ. Rehabilitation Foundation Inc. (NORFI) will spearhead on Friday, August 1, a motorcade to mark the celebration of the Reproductive Health Month.
The motorcade will start from the Sixth Street passing by Burgos Public market to the South Ceres Terminal, Libertad Public Market going to downtown and end at the Bacolod Public Plaza where a program will be held.
"The activity aims to highlight the opening of the celebration, promote and advocate wellness, safety of mothers and children, family health and reproductive health in the workplace," Project Coordinator Alita Vingno, said.
With the theme "Sa Tamang Agwat ng Panganganak, Pamilya ay Aangat," various activities will be held during the month.
Supporting the activity are organizations that include: City Health Office, Provincial Health Office, FORWARD Negros, FPOP, DOLE and DKT, Phi. (PIA-LOL)
