Unbelievable
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) declared Iloilo City as drug free?!? Unbelievable! PDEA officials should be ashamed of themselves for bestowing the city such title. For sure people from barangays Tanza-Esperanza, Malipayon, Zamora, and Bakhaw, among others, will not agree with that.
Increasing jaywalking fine
Kagawad Tong-Tong Plagata wants the fines for jaywalking increased from P50 to P200 to discourage pedestrians from violating the city's anti-jaywalking ordinance. Okay with that, the problem is, will it be religiously implemented?
MMDA men are back
A team from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) came back to Iloilo City to continue helping in the clean up operations. Reportedly, they will stay for one more week in order to completely clean up the city with the mud and debris left by typhoon Frank. Daku gid pasalamatan sang siyudad sa mga taga-MMDA ilabi na gid kay chairman Bayani Fernando.
Campus scandal
Talk of the town in Iloilo yesterday, and even today and in the coming days, is the sex scandal involving two students of a prestigious university. The sexual act reportedly happened in broad daylight right inside a vehicle parked inside the campus. Worst, many students saw the two doing their thing from atop a building where the vehicle is parked nearby. The spectators even clapped at the couple after they went out of the vehicle. Sus! Kahuluya! Ano bi kay kadamo sang tagu nga lugar dira gid sila sa sulod campus. Mirisi!
