Missing 4-year old boy found dead
The family of a four-year-old boy whose decomposing body was found 12 days after he went missing in Murcia town, Negros Occidental, yesterday said there was foul play behind his death.
The remains of Kim Arman Belarmino was found by residents in a ravine in Sitio Catugasan, Brgy. Minoyan, Murcia, yesterday.
Belarmino was reported missing by his family on July 19 after he was last seen playing at their yard.
Analyn, Kim's mother, said that she believes he was killed because the area where his body was found is almost a kilometer away from their house and he could have not gone there alone.
The Murcia police and barangay officials of Minoyan have earlier failed to locate the boy.
Chief Insp. Simeon Gane, Murcia police chief, said they could not determine what caused Belarmino's death as almost half of his body was already in an advanced state of decomposition.
Gane said he advised the family of the victim to bury him and that they may seek the help of the National Bureau of Investigation if they want to dig deeper into the cause of his death.
