The steaks of Emilion
Sirloin in pepper sauce.
Emilion Specialty Restaurant at the Gen. Luna Street has launched its good quality, good tasting and affordable steaks for meat lovers out there.
Its selection includes Beef Salpicao, Porterhouse, Tenderloin and Sirlion. It also concocted several sauces that diners can choose from and pair with their chosen steak. They are pepper sauce, ala pobre and mushroom gravy sauce. Each order goes with fried rice or mashed potatoes.
Emilion's mashed potato is creamy and provided with a twist by having a dash of curry powder on top.
And by the way, Emilion's porterhouse is authentic. While some chefs pass regular-sized T-bone steaks as porterhouse, Emilion doesn't. Theirs is definitely an oversized T-bone steak that is thicker in cut and has more tenderloin relative to the loin portion compared to just a plain T-bone.

You can opt to have your steak cooked the way you want it. There's Very Rare, which is cooked very quickly, the outside is seared yet the inside is cool and barely uncooked; Rare, where the outside is gray-brown and the middle is red and slightly warm; Medium Rare, where the steak has fully red, warm center, Medium Well Done, where the meat is light pink surrounding the center; and Well Done, where the meay is gray-brown throughout and slightly charred.
