The opening of the first interactive exhibition of robotic dinosaurs in the Philippines was held recently. Such exhibit will run until Sept. 2, 2008 at the fountain area of Robinson's Place Bacolod.
Joseph Sian, Robinson's Bacolod general manager was very happy for the victorious outcome of the exhibit's opening.
"The exhibit is not only fascinating but very educational as well," Nilo Mapa, general manager of Robinsons Malls, said.
Mapa earlier said that it's the first time that an exhibition of this magnitude will be staged in Philippine grounds.
Robinsons department heads and staff, Mayor Evelio "Bing" Leonardia, Vice Mayor Jude Thaddeus Sayson led the guests in exploring the dinosaurs' garden.

There are nine fully automated robotic hydraulic dinosaurs geared with heart pounding movement and sound. Weighing 225 Kilograms to 800 Kilograms and sizes ranging from 1.7 meters x 1.2 meters to 5.6 meters x 2.6 meters, each dinosaur will represent a selection of species from the various era of prehistory. The nine automated hydraulic robotic dinosaurs are Tyrannosaurus Rex, Deinonychus, Triceratops, Apatosaurus, Apatosaurus baby, Dimetrodon, Pachycephalosaurus, Stegosaurus and Stegosaurus baby.
The exhibit brings entertainment and amusement as well as provide a vast knowledge about the dinosaurs' fascinating existence, evolution and extinction. On display are scientific information and standard facts about their names, diets, weight, social habits, habitat and era.
Enjoy and discover the world of dinosaurs at Robinson's Place Bacolod's DINOSAURS ARE BACK! featuring the exact replicas of dinosaurs in a garden like set-up, copied from their original habitat. Four different time periods presented are Late Jurassic, Early Cretaceous, Late Cretaceous and Late Permian.

Dinosaurs Are Back had a high record-setting tours in France and Germany, as well as an extremely popular exhibition in Tivoli, Copenhagen.
