Gov. Zayco lauds 48 Japan-bound Negrense trainees
BACOLOD CITY -- Gov. Isidro P. Zayco last week lauded the 48 Negrense skilled workers to be sent and trained in Japan next week through the Negros Japan Human Resource Exchange Association, Inc. as they paid a courtesy visit to the governor at the Capitol yesterday.
This 13th batch of trainees who came from the cities and municipalities of Negros Occidental is in a three-year contract who will be employed by a multi-contractor cooperative in Japan, which will eventually segregate the trainees in different companies where they will be provided with allowance.
Gov. Zayco advised them to be industrious and to be time-conscious for their own good and for Japanese employers to have a good impression to Filipino workers.
The trainees were accompanied by Jose Ma. Zayco of the Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Virgilio Villena, Jr., David Law-as and Samuel Baliguat of NJHREA.
The, NJHREA Inc. based in Bacolod City has been sending trainees to Japan every six months.
To be qualified one should be at least a high school graduate, 25 to 35 years old and must have at least 3-5 years of experience in construction.
