If you happen to watch a movie at SM City Iloilo Cinema, then you have noticed its new and exciting look. Then, you have enjoyed its renovated design as well as experienced its state-of-the-art facilities and the classy and spacious lounge area.
Each cinema has a color theme at the lobby. Cinema 5 sports the maroon color; cinema 6, yellow; cinema 7, blue; and cinema 8, orange.
According to Jonathan Cannilas, cinema supervisor, the concept was patterned from SM Manila's cinema. Cinema 6, considered as the biggest, has a stage, making it ideal for events. It also has a dressing room and bathroom, said Cannilas. He added that it can accommodate 824 people. The seats are made of fabric and leather.

Ticket release is now being computerized. So, if you plan to watch a movie at Cinema 6, for example, you can purchase from any other booth because they are already online.
Persons with disabilities are also part of SM Cinema's renovation, thus comfort rooms for them were constructed.
The cinemas will soon have back-to-back plasma TV monitors.
