The Capiz Cab is manned by uniformed and professional drivers trained by Capiz Visitors & Convention Bureau (CVCB) for tourism services.
This pioneering project was initiated by the Capiz Halaran Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Roxas City Philippines-Chamber of Commerce, Inc. in close coordination with LTFRB and in consultation with the city government.
Bermejo welcomed the operation of the taxi cab as a sign of progress of the city.
Apaitan said that the initial five units will soon be added with up to 50 units as it was authorized by LTFRB.
Clavel, who was the guest speaker of the said occasion, advised that whoever wanted to put up taxi service they have to coordinate first with the cooperative for membership.
