inauguration of the Mayor’s Office at the
City Hall.
ROXAS CITY – The new City Mayor's Office at the second floor of the Roxas City Hall was recently inaugurated. No other than Judy Araneta-Roxas, mother of Sen. Mar Roxas, was the guest of honor during the occasion. She also distributed sphygmomanometers to all 47 barangay captains in the city.
Roxas, assisted by Gov. Victor Tanco Sr. and Roxas City Mayor Vicente Bermejo, also distributed relief goods from the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) to all said village chieftains.
Bermejo revealed that the new office is worth P3 million and designed by Architect Margie Maestro. He described his new office as functional, simple but elegant.

The new Mayor's Office used to be the session hall and the office of the City Council. These offices were moved to the third floor of the Roxas City Hall.
Also present during the inauguration were the city councilors, board members Alfonso Bediones Jr. and Nenita Martelino, Panay Mayor Dante Bermejo and Vice Mayor Gualberto Bernas IV.
