Cop, wife face murder raps in Chiu slay
BACOLOD CITY – Police has already filed murder charges against three suspects in the killing of businessman Dixon Chiu last October 29 in his rice warehouse in B.S. Aquino Drive this city.
Police OIC Director Supt. Leo Erwin Agpangan identified the accused as PO2 Johny Urbano, his wife Analyn and an unidentified person.
Urbano is presently assigned at Toboso Police Station and engages in rice business in Escalante City.
"The motive in killing Chiu is purely 'business' since Urbano owed Chiu of not less than 5 million debts in the said business," Agpangan said.
It was learned Urbano's wife Analyn had confrontations and threats with Chiu that's why they included her in the case.
Agpangan already called up Provincial Director Rosendo Franco after they officially filed the case and Franco said he will cooperate to BCPO since the suspect is under his jurisdiction.

Agpangan said the crime is already solved and the suspects has also the right to file their counter-affidavit the time they receive the summon
