Costume.
All Saint's Day last Nov. 1, 2008 was a fun-filled event for 12,000 people who flocked to the Garden of the Ascension. New activities were designed by the management of Garden of the Ascension like Clown on the Loose at the Legacy, Ghost Parade where a hearse was followed by the children in costumes, Tigkaralag Cultural Presentation of Pavia and the highlight, the Halloween costume, among others. There were 70 children who participated in the costume contest and the winner received a cash prize, bags of candies, Halloween balloons and Kevin's Toys and David's Fun House gift certificates. The non-winners received consolation prizes, thus, all the little ones went home happy.
According to Jaresh Ng, resident manager of Garden of the Ascension, the crowd turnout was beyond what they expected. "The company always makes it a point to come up with new activities, which can be considered as "first-times." Rest assured, we will come up with a more exciting celebration in the park next year," he added.
