Iloilo police director identifies high risk police stations
Iloilo Provincial Police Office Director Ricardo de la Paz has identified the high risk police stations that will be given priority for the deployment of the new recruits of the Police Regional Office 6.
These municipalities where some of the 250 Police Officers I will be deployed soon are Tubungan, Guimbal, Igbaras, Leon, Calinog, Lambunao and Badiangan.
De la Paz said that these police stations have been identified as high risks because their being prone to harassment and attacks by the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army (CPP-NPA).
He said that this year, there has been no atrocity sown by the CPP-NPA in the province particularly in these municipalities.
"I hope that the year will end with no such incident to happen," De la Paz said.
De la Paz also expressed sadness over the ambush incident at Bgy. Estado, Victorias City Wednesday afternoon where a PO1 died due to multiple gunshot wounds she obtained from the members of the CPP-NPA.
Four other members of the PNP Regional Mobile Group 6 were also wounded in the incident. (PNA)
