260 new PNP recruits in W. Visayas take oath of office
Altogether, 260 newly- recruited police non-commissioned officers (PNCOs) in Western Visayas took their oath of office before the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) director, Chief Supt. Isagani Cuevas, in a simple ceremony held at Camp Martin Delgado Monday afternoon.
The recruits, composed of 54 female and 206 male Police Officers 1, will fill in the positions vacated by those who have been dismissed or retired from service under the PNP Attrition Recruitment Program.
They were chosen from among the more than 500 applicants who underwent the rigorous screening process ranging from physical, medical and neuro examinations, among other requirements, starting last September.
They will be sent to the Regional Training School in Bakyas, Mansilingan, Negros Occidental next week where they will undergo their first training under the Public Safety Basic Recruitment Course. (PNA)
