Ceneco denies refusing power connection for NGC
BACOLOD CITY -- Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Ceneco) OIC General Manager Erlo Sajo denied allegations hurled by City Legal Officer Atty. Allan Zamora that the Ceneco management refused to accept the city's application for service connection for the New Bacolod City Government Center.
"We would like to correct your impression that we are refusing to accept your application for service connection of the New Bacolod City Government Center and also we would like to convey to you that Ceneco adheres to all the condition that was agreed last January 9, 2009 at the Bishop's Palace, Bacolod City," Sajo added in his letter addressed to City Administrator Dr. Rogelio Balo.
He further clarified that Ceneco had complied with the Condition No. 5 of their agreement dated January 9, 2009 and they are processing the application of the city government.
Sajo also confirmed that last January 20, 2009, city representative Leah Pahinlason came to Ceneco supposedly to submit documents and presented payment in check for the service connection of the New Bacolod City Government Center.
Sajo likewise said that the 3-phase line presently serving the New Bacolod City Government Center where the city planned to tap their permanent supply is owned by Hillmarc's Construction as had been applied by their representative Perry Miranda for the construction purposes.
Sajo also assured the city government that once all the requirements and documents are submitted they will give service lines or connection to the New Bacolod City Government Center.
