Police Commissioned Officers in NegOcc to undergo schooling
With the impending opening of the Public Safety Officers Basic Course this month over at the Regional Training School-6 in Bakyas, Barangay Mansilingan in Bacolod City, a minor reshuffling of officers will take effect at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office.
Police Chief Inspector Rico Santotome Jr, NOPPO spokesperson said that Inspectors Mary Rose Salve Gaspillo-Pico (PHQ), Louie Figueroa (Cauayan), Danilo Zuniega (Calatrava), Edencio Gregorio (Ilog) and Nerito Lobrido (Kabankalan City) are set to take the PSOBC schooling in line with their promotion to Senior Inspector (Captain).
In their stead, NOPPO provincial director Police Senior Superintendent Manuel Felix will name their temporary replacements to avoid a vacuum in their respective units in coordination with the local chief executives of the municipalities concerned.
The 4-month career advancement schooling is also in line with NOPPO's TEAM NEGROS action plan specifically on transforming the Negros Occidental police into a more capable, professional and respected public servant.
Others who are due for schooling include Moises Padilla PNP chief, Police Senior Inspector Arnold Mesias (PNPA '99) who is slated to take the PSOAC (Advanced Course) for his promotion to Chief Inspector (Major) and Inspectors Anthony Cana (Candoni), Joshua Villasis (Pulupandan) and Reylan Coronel (612th PMG).
Set to take over their respective posts are Police Senior Inspectors Gil Flores (Pulupandan) and Raymond Maningo (Cauayan), Inspectors Cesarlin Delubio (Calatrava), Pabiolo Ortiz (Moises Padilla) and Antonio Talatala (Ilog).
