Reservation for Panaad kiosks rental starts March 2
BACOLOD CITY -- Reservation of kiosks for the 16th Panaad sa Negros Festival scheduled April 18 - 25, 2009 will start on Monday, March 2, 2009 until slots are filled up.
Panaad Park Administrator Ian A. de Ramos disclosed that a total of 228 kiosks will be made available for rental on a “first-come first-served” at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City.
A general briefing will be conducted on April 3, 2009 at 10 a. m. at the Panaad Stadium Lobby. Attendance of all renters is a must, de Ramos said.
Out of the 228 available kiosks: 88 are for Food and Drinks; 31 for Ice Cream, Shakes, Hotdogs, etc; 32 for Dry Goods; 27 for the Garden Show and 50 for the T-zone.
Maximum of three kiosks per renter will be allowed. Rental for Food and Drinks is P5,000; Garden Show is P2,000 and P4,000 for the T-Zone. Full payment will be required to make the necessary choice for the area of operation and 20 percent of the rent will be charged as penalty for cancelled reservations.
Reservation shall be made with Ms. Marilou Garcia at the Panaad Administrative Office with telephone numbers 446-1582 to 85.
De Ramos also reiterated some of the guidelines which must be strictly followed by the renter. For Dry Goods clients, selling of fruit shakes and other food items is strictly not allowed and bringing in of hawkers or street vendors is prohibited. Videoke machine operation will not be allowed. Renters should abide by the organizer’s policy on exclusivity of products to be sold in cases where it has a lock-out agreement with corporate sponsors. All renters will be required to provide a 15 Amperes circuit breaker.
Violation of any of the foregoing guidelines will be meted a penalty of P1,000 cash for the first offense and removal of the rights to use the kiosks plus banning from future participation for the second offense shall be imposed. (CAPITOL NEWS)
