Mondejar is among the government officials who waited for the arrival of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as the latter graced the inauguration of Teletech Delivery Center last Tuesday.
Mondejar said the training helped a lot of people. President Arroyo is even contemplating of increasing the budget of the scholarship program from P2 billion to P5 billion. The agency is very thankful to the President with her scholarship program.
He added TESDA is not only teaching English language in the region. They also teach Korean and Japanese languages. There are only three languages being thought here compared in Manila. In every region, the language competency skills courses are being offered.
In Iloilo City, there are already Korean tutorial schools which are operating.
Foreign and even local employers are now hiring job applicants who possessed TESDA’s certificate of competency. The certification of competency is issued to TESDA graduates particularly in skilled courses, said Mondejar.
