Livelihood fair like cooking demo will also be conducted during the jobs fair.
Pisces International, a recruitment agency from Manila, is one of the major participants which according to Dela Cruz is looking for 3,000 employees for Guam.
When asked if the city employment, especially the workers is affected by crisis, Dela Cruz said not so since only few were reported to have went home.
What they did is to train them again for another job description which is needed by other employers.
Meanwhile, a total of 911 summer jobbers are roaming around the city to help the city in campaigning for solid waste segregation.
They were trained prior to their official responsibility and attended series of seminars to equip the youth on their campaign.
According to Dela Cruz, 355 of them will be working 22 days, to receive P4,000 while the remaining 355, for 15 days only with corresponding allowance of P3,000.
Aside from distribution of “Let’s Segregate” flyers, they will also conduct Anti-poverty survey.
“This is the city and labor department's way of giving the youth an opportunity to help their parents in preparation of the upcoming opening of the new school year,” Dela Cruz added.
