Filipino food with a twist at SM City Iloilo
A Cooking Demo By Ramlo Villaluna
A cooking demonstration of Filipino food happens at SM City Iloilo every Wednesday for the month of June. Its first guest chef was Ramlo Villaluna, owner of Cindy's Catering. Villaluna is one of the city's renowned chefs. He studied in the Institute of Culinary Education for bread making and under Delores Custer of the Culinary Institute of America for food styling. He is a Culinary Arts professor at the University of San Agustin. He works with the Department of Tourism by being a resource speaker on food handling. His show, Food Trip is featured in GMA 6's Arangkada, shown every Tuesday, 6:30 AM.
The recipes and food pictures on these page were taken during his cooking demonstration at SM City Iloilo last June 17, 2009. The week after, Chef Raisa Treñas was the guest chef.
