Capiz policemen get ‘job-well-done’ accolade
ROXAS CITY – Some members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Capiz were recently commended for a “job well done” in line with the performance of their duties.
Capiz Police Provincial Director Josephus Angan led the awarding ceremony last June 29 at the Camp Teodorico Apil here, Capiz PNP Information Officer Pablito Silvestre said.
Silvestre disclosed that PNP personnel of the President Roxas Police Station led by Police Chief Alexander Ermeo as well as members of the Provincial Special Operation Group (PSOG) led by SPO4 Joselito Tupaz were commended for a successful joint operation against the suspects for the crime of murder which was committed last May.
He added that Ivisan Police Station Chief Arnel Solis and his men were also recognized for the successful arrest of Antonio Albason Eduardo for violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
On the other hand, Police Provincial Investigator Joaquin Emmanuel Ochavo was also given special commendation for having satisfactorily completed the 4-month academic program in Public Safety Senior Leadership Course.
Ochavo ranked fourth in the over-all ranking of 50 students during said schooling which was conducted at the Regional Training School 6 in Bacolod City from February to June this year, Silvestre said.
Meanwhile, Angan lauded the awardees for their exemplary performance and urged the other members of police force to take active part in the efforts to maintain peace and order in the province. (PIA/Jemin B. Guillermo)
