Body of dead GRO found in creek
ROXAS CITY — The body of a female guest relations officer (GRO) believed to be killed by her customer was found yesterday morning at Brgy. Mongpong this city.
The victim was identified as Evelyn Baylon, 24, of Tanque, this city. Baylon was found lifeless at the creek beside the airport runway on the boundary of Inzo Arnaldo and Mongpong. She sustained head injuries inflected by a hard object.
SPO1 Charlemaigne F. Tupaz told The News Today (TNT) that based on their initial investigation the victim was already dead for 6 to 8 hours before she was found.
He added that the victim was last seen at around 6:30 p.m. last Sunday in Gaisano City together with a certain Arwin Bautista, crew member of a fishing boat in Culasi.
However, Tupaz said that when they conducted follow-up investigation, Bautista has yet to arrive since last Sunday from their fishing operations.
Recovered from the crime scene were: black bag containing a pair of slippers, pink card, and a big stone with blood stains.
Violeta, 48, mother of the victim told TNT that she never knew about the livelihood of her daughter because she lived independently.
She said that her daughter only told her that she works in a KTV bar.
The victim’s mother added, that her daughter is the only one who raises their 4-year old child as her live-in partner in the person of Michael Adrigado is still being detained at Ivisan PNP.
