6 wanted persons apprehended in Negros Occidental
BACOLOD CITY — Newly-designated Hinobaan PNP chief Police Senior Inspector Arnold Mesias quickly buckled down to work barely a day after he assumed post as the town’s chief of police after a wanted person was arrested Tuesday afternoon.
The suspect identified as Imelda Alracio was nabbed by the local PNP together with elements of Basay Police Station in Negros Oriental and the 6RMG led by Police Inspector
Fred Lenomta by virtue of an arrest warrant for the crime of “estafa” and violation of Batas Pambansa 22.
In Escalante City, rape suspect Apostolito Villaruz, 76, and resident of Barangay Balintawak was arrested by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Moises Nifras of RTC Branch 58-San Carlos City with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
Meanwhile, policemen in Moises Padilla town took into custody 26-year old Marlon Anino, a resident of Barangay 4 Poblacion who voluntarily surrendered to the local PNP for the crime of “reckless imprudence resulting to homicide” as contained in an arrest warrant issued by Judge Elsie Elumba.
Other wanted persons arrested were Ariel Valencia for “reckless imprudence resulting to homicide” by Murcia PNP in Bacolod City, Dionesio Gawan, 46, for “attempted homicide and “Elena Sancho for “theft”, all in Bago City.
