Guv Tanco’s projects, aids to constituents bared
ROXAS CITY – In order to realize his slogan “Pag-ulikid labi sa tanan ang tawo” Capiz Governor Victor Tanco, Sr. continued pouring projects and aids to his constituents in the province of Capiz.
Tanco turned over the check worth P45,000.00 to Mrs. Figuracion Fantinalgo, principal of Don Inocencio Del Rosario Memorial School (DIDRMS) in Brgy. Dayao here recently at the Governors’ Office, Provincial Capitol.
The said financial assistance will be used for the construction of additional classrooms in the said school
“Since the projects is intended for the improvement of education, my administration supports it because it is in line with my development agenda which is giving quality and relevant education to Capiceños,” said Gov. Tanco.
In Maayon, Capiz, the governor distributed PhilHealth cards to 675 indigents recently at the town’s civic center.
The provincial government allocated sufficient funds which will benefit the underprivileged. It also planned to give more PhilHealth cards to the poor population of the province of Capiz.
The Tuburan Health Unit received a set of health equipment worth P 120,000.00 from the governor and UNICEF recently at the Civic Center of this town.
Capiz athletes are likewise thankful to Gov. Tanco for the cash incentives given to them as a token of recognition for their efforts in giving honor to the province.
The total cash amounting to P400,000 was distributed to athletes based on the number of medals they have earned in their respective sports events.
In his message, Gov. Tanco conveyed to the athletes that they are the pride of Capiz and they should strive to excel in their chosen sports.
The parents of the athletes expressed appreciation to the governor for the support he had given to their children.
In Sapian, Tanco led the distribution of water jugs to 110 recipients, all members of the AG-Sur Small Fisherfolk – Women’s Multi-Purpose Cooperative of Brgy. Agtatatcay Sur here recently.
The project was also supported by the Fishery and Aquatic Resources and management Council (FARMC).
“This is a symbol of my Pag-ulikid to all of you, I hope that these water jugs will help you in your daily activities,” Tanco said.
Also present at the distribution were ASF-WMPC Chairman Ricardo Olano, former board member Aldwin Cruz-am, FARMC representative Norberto Apaitan and Brgy. Officials of Agtatacay Sur, Sapian, Capiz.
