NOPPO ‘Best Practice of The Week’: Give a friendly greeting
BACOLOD CITY — Beginning the third week of August, the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) will observe the “best practice of the week” in line with the enhancement of police-community relations in the province.
NOPPO Police Community Relations Branch chief Police Chief Inspector Jefferson Descallar revealed that for this week alone, PNP personnel are encouraged to give a friendly greeting and to eventually make it a habit in the performance of their daily routine as police officers.
“Saying Good Morning or Good Afternoon to your officemates and your clients will start the day on the right note,” as stressed by NOPPO provincial director Police Senior Superintendent Manuel Felix.
When greeted, NOPPO personnel should give a friendly response and look the person in the eyes as you greet with a smile was Descallar’s advise to policemen assigned in the province.
Every week, another “best practice” will be emphasized by NOPPO to its personnel as part of the PNP’s Integrated Transformation Program by way of impact projects and in winning the hearts and minds of the Negrenses as members of Team NEGROS.
