Cop went wild after GRO refused him
ROXAS CITY – A police officer went wild at a videoke bar here last Saturday night after he was not given the guest relation officer (GRO) he has requested.
Sara (not her real name), a GRO of a videoke bar along Roxas Avenue here, said in a radio interview, that SPO2 Nelson “Boy” Ardo, a member of the Roxas City Police Station, entered the bar and took a VIP room amounting P500 which is consumable with one lady’s drink and four bottles of beer. He then requested for a GRO but the lady he chose was no longer available as she already has a customer.
Sara said she entertained the police officer who eventually asked her to have sex. At first she objected to the policeman’s invitation as they were not supposed to engage in sex inside the bar but she later agreed after she was allegedly threatened by the cop.
Sara said after having sex with the police officer, the latter asked her to again call for the GRO he had first chosen. However, the GRO he requested refused prompting Ardo to get empty bottles of beer and damaged two thermos.
According to Sara, she and Ardo were amicably settled at the police station during that night, however, when she came back to the bar, Ardo followed him and went wild again and asked to refund his P500 since he was given a different GRO from what he has chosen.
Romeo Hervias, a retired police chief who is the owner of the bar, asked police assistance prompting the city police to apprehended Ardo.
According to Hervias, he will file appropriate charges against Ardo because he caused damage of some P3,000 pesos during the commotion.
Hervias also said that many customers escaped and were not able to pay their bills after Ardo went wild throwing bottles inside the bar.
He said that Ardo, who was under the influence of liquor, destroyed the image of the entire police in Roxas City and has no place in the police service.
Meanwhile, Ardo was not reached for comment as of press time.
