Vintage bomb recovered in EB Magalona
A hacienda worker reported to the EB Magalona Police Station about a vintage bomb he found accidentally inside a sugarcane field last November 20 in Barangay Alicante of the said municipality.
Police Chief Inspector Samuel Mina, local police chief, said that tractor operator identified as Rollie Alvior of Hacienda Pilar in the said barangay found the said vintage bomb while plowing the sugarcane plantation owned by Mr Bartolome Lacson Friday morning.
After reporting the matter to the local PNP, Mina immediately dispatched a team of policemen to Barangay Alicante to recover the said explosive.
The said vintage bomb is presently in the custody of EB Magalona Police Station pending proper disposal.
