A party for the UI Alumni
Amed Pama, president of the UI alumni association.The University of Iloilo-Phinma Educational Network treated the alumni in a cocktail party held at Esca’s Restaurant recently. That evening, the board of directors of its alumni association was introduced and the uniforms of the school’s varied departments were presented in a fashion show.
Chito Salazar, president of UI-PEN said that the university is embarking on a new beginning as well as forging a stronger alumni association.
Jeanette Fabul, chief executive officer of UI-PEN, reiterated the university’s slogan “In UI, walang imposible.” She also announced that UI will be giving out the Professional Award and the Distinguished Service Award to deserving alumni next year.
After the speeches, it was cocktails and reminiscing for the alumni once again.
