Man stabbed dead over old grudges
A 22-year old man did not survive after he was stabbed Saturday evening at Brgy. Sooc, Arevalo, Iloilo City.
Reports said that Allan Arroyo, also of the said place, succumbed to multiple stabbed injuries on the different parts of his body.
At around 7:00 p.m. of the said date, police accounts claimed that the victim was at a neighbor’s store when the incident happened.
After he was stabbed, he was still rushed to Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district but was proclaimed dead shortly later.
Arevalo Police Station investigator PO1 Dennis Palma claimed that they are still conducting follow-up investigation.
But initially, Arroyo’s father hinted that old grudges triggered the incident.
It was not further elaborated.
Yesterday, the name of a certain Cornelio Pastrana came out as one of the suspects.
But Palma explained that Pastrana was just investigated.
Instead, they are looking for Pastrana’s brother for further questioning.
