4 die from separate stabbing incidents
ROXAS CITY – The Yuletide Cheer for some may have turned bloody when four persons died due to stabbing incidents in separate occasions last Sunday.
Edmund Dismanos, 22, an employee of Cal’s Poultry Supply and resident of Kabangahan, Maayon, Capiz was found dead at Brgy. Bolo, this city Sunday evening. He sustained two stab wounds. He was rushed to the Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital (RMPH) but declared dead on arrival (DOA) by the attending physician. The police is conducting an investigation yet no suspect had been identified as of presstime.
Rommel Bayag, 35 of Culasi this city, succumbed to three stab wounds inflicted by three suspects. He was already dead when he arrived at the RMPH.
He and his brother-in-laws Dennis, 34 and Arlon Villegas, 25 came from a drinking spree and were walking along Sitio Pook, Culasi at 1:30 AM Sunday when the incident happened. The suspects are Arman Macarion, 21, Felix Soberano and Dan Dechoso, 20, who were also having a drinking spree at that time. They were nabbed by the police and detained at the lock-up cell of the Roxas City Police Station.
In Panitan, Rosella Fuentes, of legal age, Barangay Ambilay, was found dead with a stab wound. Fuentes was supposed to attend the ‘simbang gabi’.
In President Roxas, Capiz, another victim, Edwin Corros, 44, was also found with a stab wound. He was stabbed by Alyas Badoy Deocampo who, as of presstime, is still at large.
