Wanted person arrested
Police personnel of Police Station 9 and the Investigation Detective Management Section (IDMS) of Bacolod City Police Office apprehended Doroteo Ferrer, legal age, married and a resident of Purok Riverside in Barangay Tabunan, Bago City in the province of Negros Occidental.
Ferrer has a pending warrant of arrest for Grave Coercion in criminal case number 7390 issued and signed by Honorable Judge Herminigildo Octaviano of MTCC, Bago City dated 16 December 2009.
Suspect was nabbed on December 20, 2009 at about 10:00 A.M at the Barangay Sum-ag Public Market in this city. He is presently detained at the lock–up cell of Bago City Police Station for failure to post bail for his temporary liberty amounting to Php 12,000.00.
Meanwhile, Police Station 6 personnel apprehended Leonardo Canson y Gealolo, 26 years old, married of Guadalupe Street of Murcia, Negros Occidental; Rejay Tolentino y Cornelia, 19 years old, married of Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental and John Legaspi y Onos, 16 years old of Rosario Heights in Barangay Taculing this city.
Said suspects were apprehended for violation of Republic Act 9287 (Illegal Gambling) at about 3:00 P.M on December 19, 2009 at Rosario Heights in Barangay Taculing this city.
They were caught playing TONG-ITS and the police recovered from their possession One (1) Deck of playing cards and Cash bets amounting to Forty Three Pesos (Php 43.00).
Canson and Tolentino are presently detained at the lock – up cell of Police Station 6 while Legaspi was turned over to the City’s Social Development Center. (PO1 Jared Esquilla)
