Negrenses cautioned vs. fire, road, cracker accidents
Negros Occidental Gov. Isidro Zayco advised Negrenses to celebrate New Year’s Eve revelry safe by avoiding fire, road mishaps, firecracker blasts and other accidents.
The governor also asked parents to strictly monitor their children on possible poisoning or burns due to firecracker-use and other related incidents that may arise at home.
Zayco also advised those that will drink alcoholic beverages to do such in moderation to prevent occurrence of conflicts that would possibly result to crime.
“Everything must be in moderation so it would be a peaceful, happy, and healthy celebration as we welcome the year 2010” said Zayco.
He said welcoming the new year could be done safely if the people follow the simple precautionary measures. (PNA)
