BCPO conducts unsealing of firearms
The Bacolod City Police Office conducted the unsealing of firearms among Police Officers assigned in this city during the Monday Flag Raising ceremony at the BCPO Main Office grounds.
The issued firearms of Bacolod PNP personnel were sealed before the Christmas and New Year’s celebration in accordance with the directive from Police Regional Office 6 to properly seal off all issued firearms to prevent police officers in firing illegally or indiscriminately during the holiday season.
BCPO Operations Branch record shows that there were no reports with regards to victims of stray bullets and indiscriminate firing in the city.
BCPO Officer-In-Charge, Police Senior Superintendent Celestino Guara Jr. thanked all Bacolod policemen and women for their cooperation by following the directives given to them. (PO1 Jared Esquilla)
